This project was done in stages to allow the clients to remain living in the home throughout the entire renovation process. We started with the main floor and kitchen portions. Dividing walls were removed and custom kitchen cabinetry was built in. We incorporated flush mount under cabinet lighting and built in appliances.
Next step was to tackle the upper 2 bathrooms. The upper floor shared bath was outfitted with cabinetry to maximize storage space and help keep an open feel. Mosaic glass details were incorporated to introduce a splash of colour and to tie in different elements.
The ensuite bathroom allowed us to reconfigure a dated bathroom into a stunning new space. The tub was eliminated and a large tiled shower was installed. The cabinetry was made using imported Italian quarter sawn walnut veneers and decorative light pendants were added to accentuate the double sinks.
Over the next period of time we redid the mudroom cabinetry, home office and turned the basement into an art studio for the families “in situ” artist.
