This client hired us to do some custom cabinetry work in a downtown condo a number of years ago and when he bought this new property we were his first call. The home had some renovations completed on the main floor but the basement was in dire need of an update.
The existing flooring, doors and cabinetry were removed. We installed in floor heating and vinyl plank flooring into the basement development. The existing fireplace was removed and a new one installed. We had custom metal brackets made to support reclaimed timber shelving that flanked both sides.
A new wet bar was built complete with a built in glass rinser. LED strip lighting was recessed into strategically placed millwork notches to showcase the client’s collection of scotches. The main floor fireplace surround was stripped and a split faced travertine was installed with a reclaimed wood surround.
